Chifley Business School's core beliefs and commitments flow from the conviction that corporations are the ultimate purchasers of all our products.

In short, our strategy is built around understanding and meeting corporate needs for management training and education. Chifley's capacity to respond directly to a corporation's requirements by designing and delivering training products is the result of this strategy.

To ensure that we deliver on our commitment, Chifley's Business Services Team operate across Australia to work closely with corporations in designing and delivering custom-made corporate training programs.

Over the past ten years, many diverse corporate solutions have been tailored, and Chifley draws from this experience to offer organisations a full scope of corporate training programs, including:

• 'In-house' versions of existing Chifley Short Courses provided for a group of corporate managers
• Tailored versions of Short Courses, in which specific content is developed to meet the needs of the corporation
• Fully customised programs designed 'from the ground up' to meet a corporate need. For example, the National High Potential Managers Program, designed specifically to help a national fertilizer producer to prepare its chemical engineers to assume plant management roles.
• Corporate implementations of certificate and diploma programs, such as Diploma of Business (Frontline Management). Chifley's particular advantage is to link these programs closely to work roles and projects.
• Internal programs linked to graduate qualifications. Such programs may take many forms, and often combine internal short courses with participation in flexible learning graduate programs units.
• Use of Chifley learning materials (such as MBA units or short courses manuals) to provide the foundation for delivery of courses by internal corporate staff.

Chifley's delivery strategy involves learning through sharing and undertaking activities - often called experiential or action learning. Chifley's customised training offers relevant scenarios, simulations and case studies. Embracing these learning principles ensures that when participants complete our programs they find it easier to transfer their new-found learning into the workplace for immediate results.
